John Candy Was Perfect
John Candy was perfect as Uncle Buck. Several other actors were considered for the role at the time - but none could have played the role better. We miss you John.
Uncle Buck is an irresponsible, slobby loaf of a man. His brother, Bob Russell, calls him in to help watch the kids because he and his wife Cindy need to leave because her father was in the hospital. Uncle Buck comes to watch the kids. He actually was serious with his job as a babysitter and tried to act in a responsible way for the family but somethings go awry - which is the comedy of the film.
Great afternoon film to kick back and enjoy the nonsense on screen.
