Jekyll & Hyde-ish
This Hammer Films production is sorta in the vein of Jekyll & Hyde with a few tweaks. In this case, Doctor Bonner is 104 years old, though he doesn't look over 40 years of age. Bonner has to take a liquid to keep him alive and needs surgery so he can live another 10 years. Can Dr. Bonner get his surgery? If he doesn't get that surgery in time he is sure to die! But is it right that another person should die so Bonner can continue living? What Bonner discovered is "fountain of youth" and could change the world but at what price?
The film is alright until the abrupt ending. It's the ending that could have been better. I'm also confused about the girl in the cage but I think she is one of Bonner's patients - though it was never mentioned.
OK film, but don't go out of your way to watch this one.
