Great Special Effects
The special effects are great! The effects are right up there with "The Bride of Frankenstein" and "The Incredible Shrinking Man". The story is lacking - rather boring at times (especially the beginning of the film) - but it's a watchable movie on a boring afternoon.
The technicolor is gorgeous! The copy I have has been restored - so it's not faded and drab.
The tale is about Dr Thorkel, who is a brilliant scientist but has a major problem with his megalomania, the other scientist who try to stop him from his unorthodox scientific experiments. Thorkel shrinks the other scientists in order to stop them from destroying his work.
