I Seek the White Whale!
I had long forgotten that I've seen this film in my childhood. I bought a DVD copy of the movie to watch and as soon as Queequeg entered the picture I reclaimed my memories of watching this as a young girl.
Gregory Peck IS Captain Ahab! In fact, all of the actors are the characters they play! Honestly, the actors played their roles extremely well.
The special effects still hold up today! The story is a timeless classic that works well on screen. The director did one great job helping to give us this tale.
Wonderful film that is well worth watching. Would pair well with 'Jaws' or '20,000 Leagues Under the Sea'.
