A Suspenseful Sci-Fi Horror
This is one of the better sci-fi & horror films of the 1990s. Stellar casting, directing, plot/storyline, cinematography, & special effects.
The plot is of 5 medical students that 'flatline' (die) and then brought back to life in order to know if there is something more after life. Each will have their own personal experiences with the experiment but theiur past will come back to haunt them. Very simple story but very effective. The film holds up well with age and repeat viewings.
I for one would love to have been one of these "Flatliners". To see my past and what 'sins' I need to atone for; to experience a sample of afterlife then come back to life to tell the tale.
Good film! I just wish it was a bit longer.
