Enjoyable Murder Thriller
It's been 25 years since I've seen this thriller. I finally broke down and bought a DVD copy for my library to watch again - so happy I did. I've forgotten just how enjoyable this murder thriller is.
Acting is tops - I love Viggo Mortensen and Michael Douglas. Gwyneth Paltrow is top of her game here as well.
Cinematography, musical score, special effects, directing are all near perfect.
This is one of the best films to come out of the 1990s. Steven Taylor (Douglas) wants to kill his wife Emily (Paltrow). Steven hires David Shaw (Mortensen) to kill his wife and Shaw is also Emily's lover. The film gets intense and mysterious.
