Grand Film - Fictional James Whale Story
While most of the film is fictional, how James Whale dies and the note he left is true life. However, the film is outstanding! The last 30 minutes or so is intense. Well worth my time watching.
Ian McKellen is brilliant as always and Brendan Fraser is outstanding! Fraser will blow you away with his acting chops - so good! Lynn Redgrave also gives a strong performance - she's great!
Main themes: Frankenstein, WWI, homosexuality, heath issues, mental breakdown, friendships, bizarre relationships, art and horror. If this sounds interesting then you should give this film a watch - highly entertaining!
