Bean (1997)

Fun Lighthearted Comedy

Almost as funny as Bean's TV series. Bean is his usual bumbling crazy self: screwing things up, knocking things over, making a mess of everything but he does have some successes every now and again.

Peter MacNicol is great as Bean's 'straight man'. Peter plays David Langley - a man who's job rests on the success of Bean's visit to the USA and speech concerning the famous painting of Whistlers Mother.

You'll get a few genuine laughs out of this insane comedy if you like silly, lighthearted comedies. In the end, it's a film of family and friendship.

I enjoyed watching this again after years of not viewing it.

9/10
