Not As Good As I Remember
Waxwork is a goofy black comedy. It's bloody at times and the jokes are a bit flat. I believe the film would have been much better as a pure horror rather than throwing in comedy but it still works alright.
Mark and his girlfriend, Sarah, are invited with their friends to a special showing of the Wax Museum. There are 18 horror characters on display. They all go to the museum at midnight and Sarah and another friend disappear. Mark begins to suspect something is wrong.
Okay film.
