An Underrated Classic
For me, this is an underrated sci-fi classic. Don't expect the quality of Star Wars because it's more akin to the quality of original Star Trek series but still of better quality special effects.
I grew up with many Disney movies and that includes The Black Hole. Yes the film has sentimental value for me but it is also a classic film worth watching for sci-fi fans.
The movie is not "kiddish" except for maybe Vincent and Bob but they are adorable while the other robots are sophisticated. The film itself is a DARK story with a gruesome death for some of the characters - though kids can watch it (I did as a kid in the 1970s).
Give this film a try if you're a fan of classic science fiction!
