More American Graffiti (1979)

Not Perfect But Really Good

This is a sorely overlooked and underrated sequel - in my opinion. This is a "where are they now" look at what has happened to the beloved characters from the first film - minus Richard Dreyfuss of who I missed,  though we know Dreyfuss' character went on to become a writer in Canada from the closing of the first film.

This movie begins in 1964 but quickly takes us to other years for each of the set of characters. It might be confusing for a first time viewer but just remember each set of character's stories are set on New Years Eve of different years.

Personally I really enjoy this follow-up film - it's not perfect but it's really good.

9/10
