Surprisingly Good
This is a surprisingly good take of A Christmas Carol - especially for the time era. During the 1930s, they had a very different way of doing special effects that were effective and it shows in this film - very good. As far as I know, this is the earliest 'talkie' film about Scrooge and it holds up fairly well to today's cinema. Bravo!
