Good Film for D&D Fans
I liked this film as much as the first one. The first film was great - funny as heck. This second film doesn't have a lot of comedy as the first film -- it takes itself more seriously.
I you are not into D&D you might not understand some of what is going on, nor will you understand some of the magic or weapons in the film but if you like sword and sorcery movies you still might enjoy the film - though not with full understanding.
For fans of D&D - I think the film offers a lot. Sure not all the rules of this world follow the monster manuals to a tee but as one reviewer said "just assume the DM has house rules." -- then you can easily enjoy the film better.
