Flesh for Frankenstein (1973)

Warhol's Artsy Fartsy Frankenstein

A twist on the Frankenstein tale done in an artsy fartsy fashion. It's as dumb and lame as it sounds. I love artwork. I love things done artistically. I like some of Warhol's famous works of art. But this film is rather pathetic. It's only barely better than his Blood for Dracula (1974). His "Dracula" was a comedy and this one (Frankenstein) is meant to be taken seriously.

There is sex in this film, nude people - typical Warhol stuff. Some violence and blood. A rather lame take on the tale of Frankenstein story-wise is also included with the nudity, sex, violence and blood.

*Spoiler Below*

The ending was pathetic -- all the bodies laid out "artfully" on top of one another, minus the one artfully kneeling down but is supposed to be dead. The guy strung up to be killed by the 2 children.

Overall another 1970s trash film - done "artfully" by Andy Warhol. *Rolls eyes*

2/10
