Tales from the Crypt (1972)

Five Tales of Terror

A pretty cool old anthology of horror... five tales of terror.

The first tale, '… And All Through the House', is in a way my favorite -- a good one for the holidays (Halloween and Christmas).  You'll wish your kids did not believe in Santa Claus after watching this one.

The second story 'Reflection of Death' is not my favorite segment but it is kinda creepy in it's way.

'Poetic Justice' is the third story and I did not find it all that bad, sorta interesting.

'Wish You Were Here' is the fourth and it's a twist on The Monkey's Paw. It's ok twist - I did enjoy the tale.

The fifth and final tale called 'Blind Alleys' is really good and fairly scary story.

Overall 'Tales from the Crypt' is not a bad movie. It makes a fun way to fill the evening for horror fans. Comparable films: "Tales from the Darkside: The Movie" and "The Twilight Zone: The Movie".

7/10
