Mad Comedy At It's Best!
Although this movie is not considered a sci-fi comedy-horror - I personally put it in that category: It's has a "mad" neurosurgeon, twisted experiments and a murderer. I don't believe that a movie has to have traditional horror characters (Frankenstein, Dracula, etc) to be considered a (comedy) horror. The idea of any "mad" scientist or neurosurgeon with odd-ball experiments automatically puts it in the sci-fi horror to me.
This is one of Steve Martin's best comedies - well worth watching if you enjoy the older comedy films.
This movie would make a great double feature with movies like: "Jekyll and Hyde... Together Again", "Young Frankenstein" or "All of Me".
