A Different Kind of Frankenstein Film
This film is not in any way like Bride of Frankenstein (1935) but in a roundabout way it is. The idea of a female creation by Baron Frankenstein but that is the only very loose connection between the two films.
Instead of Dr. Frankenstein putting together body parts to create a woman he puts the soul of man inside her... a man that was put to death for murder.
The movie is quite interesting to watch. It's a different take on the Frankenstein sagas and I like that about the film. The movie does have a bit of a scare factor with a bit of gore thrown in but not over done on the gore.
Great Peter Cushing film -- I would highly recommend it for those seeking out his movies.
