Just As Good As The First Film
IMO, The Mummy Returns is just as good as the first film (The Mummy). The Mummy Returns has just as much action, adventure, comedy and thrills as the first in the series. The costuming and settings are beautiful -the script/story is good too.
I realize that there are people who feel the plot is a bit weak in The Mummy Returns in comparison to the first film but judge that for yourself - I found I enjoyed this movie just as much as the first one.
I say make this movie a double feature: The Mummy then follow it up with The Mummy Returns.
