Almost As Good As The First Film
Almost as good as the first film - this sequel is well worth watching! Simba is very much like his father Mufasa in a lot of ways but still in need of his father's guidance. The older Simba gets the more he finds himself sounding and acting like Mufasa in this animated fun filled adventure.
Timon and Pumbaa are just as funny as ever... along with those hyenas. Rafiki the mandrill is still strange. The two cute characters Kiara and Kovu's relationship is much like Nala and Simba when they were young.
I would recommend watching the first Lion King film then watching Lion King 2. The Lion King 1 1/2 is also a great film in this series.
